How to on bleeding header/body/footer uniformly w/autosize

    I see people do this all the time, but I cannot figure out how to get my header/body divs to follow the resize and to “bleed” to edge.

    I am trying to do this with a clean install of twenty eleven theme!

    Just like this website does(example)

    Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. First create a child theme for your changes.

    but if I am changing <div>s and layout, php, html – it would change the default theme(following the child theme install link) – wouldnt it be better to copy the entire theme directory and rename it ?

    If you wish to create a new, standalone, theme, please feel free. But you must leave an unedited copy of Twenty Eleven on your site in a twentyeleven folder.
