I need a complete feed to syndicate to other blogs, but my other blogs do not accept short codes such as WP’s [caption] that it includes when posting an image.

How do I omit tags like these in my feed?

    Hi
Go to plugin settings, and there choose the option of “show clean html” under post content.

    That should do the trick!
Let me know if this helps…

    All the best

Yeah man, awesome! That seems to have done the trick.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

While I have you: Is there a way to OMIT tags?

I have a bunch of rating tags etc. at the bottom, and that gets syndicated as well, which isn’t good.

Could you please provide a link for example?

Unfortunately no, but what I’m essentially looking for is a way to exclude tags in the content, so the feed doesn’t output those.

Let’s say I enter in my email subscription box, like <div class=”email-box”> — I don’t want this syndicated out, so would there be a way to exclude this specific tag? Either the tag itself or the class?

I imagine it would work the same way as including the “allowed tags”, just in reverse.

    Possible?

Sorry to say, but you can’t hide tags by class.
You can specify, with allowed tags, to show all html tags but exclude div, but that will probably hide some content you do wish that show….

    Sorry I couldn’t help more

    Best regards
    Danny

    OK, thanks for listening.
