How to obtain fully customizable product catalog?

    Hey all,

    I am looking for a way to get a fully customizable layout of products, like in a catalog page.

    See included link.
    – The upper buttons:
    > Should be customizable (custom HTML perfered)
    > Show only the relevant products in this category

    – The products:
    > Should only be displayed as they are. No click-through to a new page. Just displaying.
    > Have custom extra boxes where I can change the image, description, extra text, also HTML-adaptable.

    Is there a way to do this?
