[Resolved] How to number bullet points starting with #26?

  • I am putting together a 2-part series of blog posts that detail 50 lessons I have learned as an internet marketer. In post #1 I want to list Lessons #1 through #25. In post #2 I want to list Lessons #26 through #50.

    My question is this: in post #2 how do I create an ordered list where the number sequence starts with #26 — and then goes from 26 to 50? In a WordPress the ordered list automatically start with #1. Is there a way for me to have the lesson in post #2 be #26?

    Thank you.

    Jon Poland

  • I found the answer. Place this html code before the list you are going to create:

    <ol start=”26″>

    In my case I want the list to start with #26 — therefore I put the number “26” in the above html code.

    If you want your number to start with, for example, 10 – you would replace the 26 in the above code with the number 10.

    Pretty simple.

    Thank you so much for this!!! I love the WP community 🙂
