[resolved] How to not display some directory fields in full listing (4 posts)

    Hi,

    We are using the directory add-on and have some opt-in/opt-out fields that are supplied by the user on the online form.

    In the directory, we can select columns that we want to show and not show; however, once someone clicks on the link to view the full directory listing, the opt-in/opt-out field and values are shown. How can they be removed from the display?

    Any suggestions/direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    I looked into filters and got it to apply to the directory listing page but still not the detailed entry/full entry display...Any ideas?

    I added the following to the thesis theme's custom_functions.php file:

    function test_function($content) {
        return "test";
    }
    add_filter ('kws_gf_directory_value_#', 'test_function');

    FYI: In case it helps anybody else.

    I found http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravity-forms-addons/faq/ and added the kws_gf_directory_detail filter, creating a custom function in the thesis theme's custom_functions.php file.

    Thanks new_B - I've been busy and unable to help as much as normal. Thanks for posting what you've found.
