    Hi nirmal2me,

This is something you’ll need to do in your robots.txt or htaccess file, it’s not possible to do it in All in One SEO Pack without editing each page and checking the NOINDEX checkbox.

This is a pretty big deal for me. Any instructions on how to edit the .htaccess to accomplish? I’m slowly moving sites from Yoast to All In One Pro, but Yoast had a checkbox to disable this, and that was really handy.

    Hi theatereleven,

Can you send an example of something you are trying to noindex and we can provide code for your htaccess.

Iam using All in One SEO for past 2 years. It is one of my favourite SEO plugin.

Now I need two more options to make my site well in search results.

    1. I would like to Noindex subpages of all archives (home page, category etc). This option is already added in Yoast SEO.

But you already told me – This is something you’ll need to do in your robots.txt or htaccess file. I don’t know how to do. That’s why I need a checkbox option to use.

    2. I need to add Meta title, description and keywords for all my category.

Thanks in advance for taking time for me.

    Hi nirmal2me,

We have checkboxes for setting noindex on custom post types, custom taxonomies, categories, tags, date archives, author archives, the search page and 404 page.

You can add titles, descriptions and keywords to categories, tags and custom taxonomies using All in One SEO Pack Pro.

Thanks wpsmort for giving this option in AIO.

I have little bit confusion about choosing right option to noindex subpages.

I would like to noindex subpages of all archives – http://mydomain.com/page/2/. I found this option in AIO – Use noindex for paginated pages/posts:

But what is the use of this option – Use noindex for the Search page:??

That option will set noindex on your search page.

    Thanks I got it.

Iam using better wordpress XML sitemap. How to noindex XML sitemap from search engine.

Only for my site meta name, itemprop are shown in both description, keywords.

For other sites using the same version of AIO it does not shows like this. May I know why?

Noindex XML sitemap only works if you’re using our XML sitemap module.

You may have disabled Schema.org markup (All in One SEO, General Settings, Use Schema.org Markup) which is why you don’t see that markup on your other site.

Iam using Theme junkie’s Resizable theme for my site. Iam asked about this issue.

They said “external plugin, I can’t help, please configure settings. I tested plugin and schema.org, looks good”

Can you help me solve this problem. Is showing meta name, itemprop for both description, keywords affect keyword ranking in google search?

    Hi nirmal2me,

I don’t understand your question and I don’t see a URL. We need much more information and a URL for a site where we can see the problem.

    indiajobalert.in is my site.

When I see my site view source, there I find itemprop for both meta description, keywords. Screenshot of my view source – http://prntscr.com/6fr6h0

I asked you about this issue.

You said – You may have disabled Schema.org markup (All in One SEO, General Settings, Use Schema.org Markup) which is why you don’t see that markup on your other site.

Iam using Theme junkie’s Resizable theme for this site. So I hire their premium support. They said, “I can’t help, please configure settings. I tested plugin and schema.org, looks good”

Now I would like to solve this issue. Can you help me.

Is showing itemprop for meta description, keywords affect Google search ranking for my site?

    Hi nirmal2me,

Your site looks fine, that’s how that code is supposed to look. If you want to remove the Schema.org markup then use the option in All in One SEO Pack to remove that but it’s fine and Google likes to see that markup.

    Hi wpsmort,

Actually Iam adding lots of pdf files to my wordpress site. So I use AIO SEO setting page to noindex and nofollow all the pdf attachment files.

But the pdf attachment is still INDEXING in Google search engine. Why? SEE SCREENSHOTS

    PDF NoIndex – http://prntscr.com/6l4i2u
