    Hi there,

I have a website up and running with this PWA plugin. It’s doing a great job in my opinion so thanks for providing it.

Right now I’m redesigning the site and planning to run it on the same server but in a different folder with another database. How can I ensure that users who have downloaded the current site as PWA reach the new site when they click on their app icon?

    Kind regards

Can you please tell me the URL change after moving?

I’m not sure if I understand you right. Currently the site is stored in the servers root folder. The new site should be in a seperate one. I want to keep the domain and redirect it to this folder.

    Current site in: /
    Upcoming site in: /v2

    Do you need this?

Since the URL will not change, I think it should work perfectly. Can you please just make sure that you move the manifest.json file you have it in the root.

Ok, I will move the manifest. Thank you so far. One final question for now: Do I need to move the entire plugin as it is in WP plugins folder, too? Or do I have to re-install it the regular way via backend?

It’s better to move the directory.

Ok, I’ll try it out. Thanks for your help.

I mark this as resolved for now. If I need any further support I’ll write it here.
