    Hello,
I would like to know if there was a way not to put the template for emails in the theme folder but rather to put it in the original file of the extension.
Because it can cause loss problems when updating the site theme.

  • Hey @thefrancoism
Why do you need a custom template, did you modify the HTML code?

The original location is also overwritten on every plugin update so the best solution is a child theme.

The problem is that the theme of my site does not have any child themes.
    What should I do ?

    Hi Hanes,
It would be so great if we could use a path like the one “Newsletter” plugin uses:
    wp-content/extensions/newsletter/emails/themes
I am sure you can do it!
This way I could use your plugin again with “Oxygen Builder” which does not use any themes.

    Thank you for your attention,

We added this feature in 2.9.0.3
You can copy your template now to wp-content/uploads/wp-html-mail/template.html
    best regards, Hannes
