How to move the blog from subfolder to root? (2 posts)

I have been building my blog on a subdirectory (http://www.goedinjevel.eu/blog) and now want to move it to the root. I figured I'd just move all the files involved to the root, but when you go to the new index (http://www.goedinjevel.eu/index.php) this is what I see:
Fatal error: Class 'WP_Widget' not found in /home/jeroepr54/domains/goedinjevel.eu/public_html/wp-includes/default-widgets.php on line 14
So the question is: how do I fix this problem?

Weird, I thought I replied to this.

All you have to do is move the main index.php file into the root, change the path name in that file to include the blog subdirectory. Then in Settings general, change the site address so that it does not include the blog directory.
