Support » Fixing WordPress » How to move post meta from footer to top near the date

  • Hello,

    how can i move the “Posted in Uncategorized | 1 Comment (ou Leave a comment)” line that is currently under the posts ON THE BLOGROLL PAGE to sit next to the “Posted on March 10, 2012” which is currently under the post title ?

    I moved the code <footer></footer> div into the <div class="entry-meta"></div>, the categories and tags are shown but the “leave a comment” does not appear.
    I guess i should change the code

    <?php if ( comments_open() ) : ?>
    			<?php if ( $show_sep ) : ?>
    			<span class="sep"> | </span>
    			<?php endif; // End if $show_sep ?>
    			<span class="comments-link"><?php comments_popup_link( '<span class="leave-reply">' . __( 'Leave a reply', 'ilwebdesign' ) . '</span>', __( '<b>1</b> Reply', 'ilwebdesign' ), __( '<b>%</b> Replies', 'ilwebdesign' ) ); ?></span>
    			<?php endif; // End if comments_open() ?>

    but i do not know how… if someone can help me…

  • I forgot to say :

    1) i use twenty eleven child theme.
    2) i do not want to change anything on single post pages, only on the blogroll (posts list) page !
    3) i am talking about the code which is in the content.php !
