  • Okay I may have figured out what to do. It’s dirty though. In the single.php file I put

    <p>Written by:
    <?php the_author_link(); ?></p>

    under the
    <?php get_posts_titles(get_the_title(), get_the_ID()); ?>

    It’s right where I want it, now I just need to link it to my google+ page

    hi tsoraci,

    that works but your changes will be lost when updating the theme.

    does the new theme update fix this maybe?

    if not, you can also just create a child theme and add your new single.php file there, this will be update safe then 😉

    hope this helps, konrad

    Hey thanks for the reply Konrad, I ended up switching to a theme that has what I wanted built in. I still need to study up on child themes though.
