  • I’m using a full page image for my one page site which is a 2011 child theme and would like to put a post at the very top of my site – essentially what I am trying to do is place my custom social media icons (3 total) and an audio player all side by side like a toolbar running accross the entire top of the site. I tried a couple of toolbar plugins but they all come with branding or are limited to certain icons which I dont need…

    Is there a better, alternative method for creating this mock toolbar? – use a page or widget instead of a post? Also, the post content area is restricted, is there a style.css code that will extend the content the full width of the site?

    Another thing I cant figure out is how to remove the thick white image border that appears when you hover over the image? The following code removes the thin white border thats always there, but not the hover border:

    #content .post img {
    border: 0;

    Thank you for any suggestions and help!
