[Resolved] How to modify the label(not title) of default search widget?

  • As I mentioned in topic title, I found there is still a word “search:” while I ve empty the widget title field.

    Please help. Thanks,

    1 Open ./wp-includes/general-template.php
    2 Search: screen-reader-text
    3 Remove <label class=”screen-reader-text” for=”s”>’ . __(‘Search for:’) . ‘</label>
