    Hey Juan,

You can migrate using our Legacy Importer. You can find our information about how to do this here: http://mikejolley.com/projects/download-monitor/add-ons/legacy-importer/

    Cheers,
    Barry

Hi! I did the import thing in my original blog. Then I did Tools/Export and export only downloads. I got an xml file.

Then I went to my new blog and got to Tools/Import from WP and submit the xml file. I check the option to download attachments. The process finished ok an I ended up with my original downloads in the new blog but only with its names and related information (like download count). But the actual files were not imported. How can I import them?

    Hey Juan,

Our legacy importer isn’t made for migrations between sites, it’s to migrate your files from the old version to the new one. If your download files are migrated via the WP exporter you might want to look into copying databases instead.

    Kind Regards,

I’ve already imported all my blog with the xml from WP. I cant copy all the tables now. Could you give me instructions to move the attachments from a blog to the other? Are the files saved in the DB or in the file system?

    Thanks!

Files are saved on the file system but links to these files are saved in the DB as post meta.
