How to migrate posts from a category into a Custom Post Type

    Hi Everyone
    I finally got some of my issues with this plugin figured out! User error.
    Just wondering if it is possible to migrate posts from a category into a custom post type.
    For example:
    Post “Apple 123” with category “Fruits” into Custom Post Type “Fruits”

    In short, yes. I don’t see anything that’d stop this from happening, however if you’re wanting some scripted/automated method to do so, I don’t have anything handy available.

    In terms of easy to do switching of the post type, I recommend https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-switcher/ however, I don’t have any best answers for renaming the posts in some way or whathaveyou that would be best for this situation. That part would be in your hands.
