How to migrate list from one site to another

    Hello,

    I’ve made a copy of the old site (with connections) to build a new one. In the meantime the list on the old site has changed (new members, members deleted, members updated).
    How can I get the list from the old site into the new site?

    Probably the best way is to export the tables from the db from the old to and them import them into the new using phpMyAdmin or similar tool.

    Another option could be … use the CSV Export All too found on the Connections : Tools admin page under the Export tab. Delete all entries in the new site and then use the CSV Import addon to import the CSV file. The only potential issue with this method is where an entry may have duplicate data types added to a field. For example, if a single entry have two cellphones added, only one can be exported/imported. The same is for all of the repeatable fieldsets (address/phone/email and so on). For most users this is not an issue, but something to be aware of when transferring using CSV.
