How to migrate from podPress to Powerpress? | WordPress.org

Hi,
I would like to get rid of the podPress plugin which does not even seem to exist in the plugin repository anymore.
What are the steps I have to perform in order for a smooth transition? I have 50 podcasts all in separate posts and of course all the setup data for iTunes etc.
So can I just install Powerpress, hit a button and everything is good? Or will I have to register anywhere, change data, and add something here and something there? Will the player appear automatically on those old podPress posts?

We created PowerPress as an upgrade path for PodPress. Back in the day we all used PodPress so we made it simple to switch over. Essentially enable PowerPress, configure show settings, then disable PodPress and you’re good to go. It just works. Hey. It just works.

Now I feel cheated out of an experience of searching for the cause of an unexplicable problem for 3 hours, switching back and forth and then, frustratingly, the whole thing suddenly working.

No, it just works. So far, PowerPress does exatly what I wanted it to do (including a proper, slim player). And my working day is over 3 hours early. Yay.
