How to Mark Transaction as Shipped on PayPal
-
Hi Team
My question is, how do I automatically mark transactions as shipped on PayPal from the plugin?
And dose the plugin even support that?
I sell digital downloads so the shipping is instant.

Hello @onlinekey
Thank you for reaching out!Yes, the plugin supports selling digital, and you can mark your products as virtual in WooCommerce to streamline the process. Here’s how it works:
- Set the product as “Virtual”:
In WooCommerce, when editing your product, check the “Virtual” option under the product settings. This tells WooCommerce (and PayPal) that the product does not require shipping, which helps automatically mark the transaction as completed or shipped on PayPal. - Handling transactions on PayPal:
For digital products marked as virtual, PayPal typically treats them as “shipped” automatically since there’s no physical shipping involved. You won’t need to manually mark them as shipped.
If you have already set the product as virtual but transactions are not being marked as shipped automatically on PayPal, please let us know, and we can assist further.
We hope this helps! Feel free to reach out with any additional questions.
Thank You
Products has been set as virtual, after getting some orders, the transaction on PayPal still not marked as shipped.
What else i can do please?
Hello @onlinekey,
I have resolved the issue and released a new version. Please test it and let me know if there are any further concerns.
Thank you for the reply
I have updated the plugin, and got some orders, But the transactions on PayPal still require me to add tracking info and also not marked as shipped.
Hello @onlinekey,
We have thoroughly checked on our end, and everything seems to be working correctly with the latest version of the plugin. Could you please confirm once more if you are reviewing an order placed after updating to the latest version of the plugin?
If you are indeed reviewing an order placed after the update, we may require the log file for that specific order (with sensitive data masked) to investigate further.
To locate the log file, navigate to: WooCommerce -> Status -> Logs (wpg_paypal_checkout). Find the “order_id” in the log file that corresponds to your WooCommerce order ID, and share the relevant details after masking any sensitive information.
You can securely submit the log file using this link: Submit Log File.
Kindly let us know once you’ve double-checked and submitted the log file. Thank you!
Hi
I uploaded the logs file
Some info:- API credentials were created and entered manually on the plugin, No Webhook URL was Created on PayPal
- Order was received on the latest version of the plugin, 9.0.21
- Order Not marked as shipped on PayPal.
Hello @onlinekey,
I reviewed the log file and noticed that the “Send line item details to PayPal” option is disabled. This setting is available under Additional Settings → Send Item Details.
Please enable this option. Once enabled, product details will be sent to PayPal and treated as a virtual product, eliminating the need to submit any tracking information.
Additionally, if the product is Downloadable, ensure that both the Downloadable and Virtual options are enabled. WooCommerce will automatically handle the order status in this case, so there’s no need to set it to Completed manually.
Hi
The option Send Item Details is very helpful for me, I don’t want to send the product name to PayPal.
Anyway, I appreciate your help and your excellent support 👍👍Regards
Hello @onlinekey
Thank you for your kind words! I’m glad to hear that the Send Item Details option has been helpful for you.

Hi 👋
Can you add the Hide Funding Method(s) option to hide the Credit Card on the Mini Cart (Side Cart)
Big thanks
RegardsHello @onlinekey,
As a temporary fix, you can set the mini cart Button Layout to horizontal, which will hide the credit card option. Your request will be included in the next release (9.0.24).

Hello @onlinekey,
Thank you for sharing the video and reporting the issue. It seems there may be a conflict with the theme or another JavaScript script causing the problem. I am investigating this and will release a fix by Monday.
I will update you as soon as the issue is resolved.
