How to Mark a particular forum POST as RESOLVED or CLOSED FOR MORE REPLIES?

You have to be the person who creates the thread

  3. If it's not your topic or it is not in your sub-forum for a plugin or theme that you author then you can't mark it resolved.

You can request that the person who opened it does so though.

  4. And if you ARE the person, there's a checkbox under the text entry field, as well as a dropdown on the sidebar :)

    @ Moderator
Thank you for your prompt reply. But still we want to know if there is any other option to make it happen, since there are many threads which are in "Not resolved" state on ShareThis Plugin Forum page.
    Check here - http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/share-this

It looks sort of weird when we take last 2 months report which says 25 threads are opened but only 3 are marked resolved.
    Any help?

You can contact the plugin author to mark resolved the threads that need resolving.

Hey Andrew, thanks for the suggestion.
We have the Plugin Author credentials, but after logging-in we don't get that option to Mark the post as Resolved.
    Any thoughts?

  8. Which topic are you referring to as an example?

This account should be able to resolve those topics.

The account you are using in this topic is

I'm avoiding the whole "please don't use multiple accounts" thing that I do as you are obviously using multiple company support accounts. ;)

Try and login as the first sharethissupport account and see if you can mark your topics resolved.

Ok now I am logged-in using the account you referred "sharethissupport". :)

So I want to close the threads asked on this URL -

But as I can see, there is no option to Mark the Post as Resolved.
    (It is disabled here)

Jan can read your comments, but it's nice to have a direct link to an example thread with the issue - And thanks for providing that

  13. You're not the plugin author :)

You're not listed there, so you don't have any access. Your account needs to be added for that.

IF not then how our WordPress Account with username "sharethis" allows us to publish new versions of Plugins?
    Link - https://wordpress.org/plugins/share-this/
Can you please help to make our account as "admin". What's the procedure?

    Any updates?

  16. I've not tried as I do not have any published plugins but when you login as the correct account and visit this URL:

    What options are you seeing?

  17. You have to add the account to the plugin readme AND the admin page. And since YOU are not the admin, you need to log in AS an admin to do any of that.

    That's your plugin author.
