I’m working on a WP E-commerce website which is supposed to launch in several hours – and I have a simple, but URGENT question:
Background: I have accidentally deleted my main *WP-E-commerce PLUGIN* (by confusing it for as similarly-named plugin). I did so via the “proper” method of hitting “Delete” on the Plugins page. Fortunately, my customized theme files are still there, and my WPEC data is safe in the database – but the wp-e-commerce/ directory IS GONE.
My question: I have full backups, and I can easily replace the missing plugins/wp-e-commerce files with files from earlier today – but will that be enough to completely restore the Store? Or do I need to REINSTALL the plugin FIRST, THEN replace the backed-up files?
My main concern is I dont want to accidentally lose the data in the database (which I’ve also backed up) – OR – accidentally break the entire website due to missing helper files, or something… Any ideas?
Unfortunately, time is very short – so if anyone on here can reply, within say, the next 15-30 minutes (from 3:15AM EST (New York, NY), I would be VERY grateful. Thanks!
