how to manually define post on start page

  • Hi,

I would like the post on the startpage not to be the last one posted but rather one of my choice. How can I configure this?

    Regards

  • assuming you are running 2.7, you can use the sticky feature…when you write the post just click the box. otherwise there is a plugin called wp-sticky that will do what you want.

    Hi,
I’m using 2.7 but don’t have the sticky feature. When trying to install the sticky plugin I get the following prompt:

    ###################################################################

    Installing Plugin: WP-Sticky 1.40
    Connection Information

To perform the requested action, connection information is required.
    Hostname
    Username
    Password
    Authentication Keys
    Public Key:
    Private Key:

Enter the location on the server where the keys are located. If a passphrase is needed, enter that in the password field above.
    Connection Type

    ##################################################################

No clue where I get the info required.

    Any hint?

    Regards
