How to manually add Post to FeedWordPress database?

    Is there a method to manually add a Post into the WordPress database, but attribute it to a syndicated feed?

    For example, if Feedwordpress misses a Post for some reason, but I want to add it into the database, is there a method to do this? Do I create anew post and then fill in the values for the Custom Fields for each key? If so, what keys are mandatory to use?
