    Hello ,
    currently if i encoded a file name ( 1.mp4 ) it creates this thumb file :

    1_thumb3.jpg

    and the number 3 is not fixed it changes from file to another so i don’t want that , i want the name to be fixed like this maybe

    1_thumb.jpg without any numbers !

    i don’t use the scripts for playbacks only for encoding so i think it won’t be hard ??

    thank you !

  • Hi again , i think i got it to work what i changed is

    thumbnailfilename[$i] = $jpgpath.$moviefilebasename.”_thumb”.round($movieoffset).”.jpg”;

    to

    thumbnailfilename[$i] = $jpgpath.$moviefilebasename.”_thumb.jpg”;

    and

    $thumbnailurl = $thumbnailfilebase.”_thumb”.round($movieoffset).’.jpg’;

    to

    $thumbnailurl = $thumbnailfilebase.”_thumb.jpg”;

    is this the right way or there is a better way ?

    thank you !

    That will probably work, as long as you only make one thumbnail for each video. Otherwise they’ll all have the same filename and overwrite each other.
