Support » Plugin: Breadcrumb NavXT » how to use another language (spanish)?

  • Resolved jenciso

this seems to work perfectly well. Using a Network with two languages (mirrored sites in spanish and english) and with custom taxonomies. No problems.
But in the spanish site I have english results from your plugin. The admin is changed to spanish. The theme does not respect this correctly (I still have english in “read more” and “Posted by” stuff…

Do I have to change any setting to tell Breadcrumb NavXT to use spanish? Or do I manually have to translate everything in the settings tab?
Or is the theme mixing things up?…

Using Elegantthemes Aggregate v2.6, Ultimate CMS v1.0.3, Multisite Language Switcher v0.9.8, Subpages Extended v.1.3.4

please infor me if theres is anything I’m missing
    /thanks a lot

Since settings are in the database, not hard coded values, the WordPress translation system does not cover them. However, initial setting values should be translated (to an extent) if you set the site into the secondary language mode before installing/activating Breadcrumb NavXT. However, after inspecting this quickly, it appears to be broken.

Ok, there were two problems with the previous version. The first was that the Spanish translations were incomplete. The seconds was an actual bug in the plugin. I have fixed this and tested that things will behave as correctly in the next version.

Both issues described here should be fixed in 4.3.0 (translation was updated, and I fixed the settings bug)
