  • 1. To change sidebar BG, you need to recolor and save these images:

    /img/sidebar/s-left.png and
    /img/sidebar/s-right-s2.png to white.

This will however only change it for the desktop version, but perhaps that is enough.

    2. Custom background should work the same way for 2col as 3col.

pls throw more light on how to make both the left and right sidebar white.which code should i edit?

You need to edit the images in /img/sidebar/ to white instead of gray.

    hello alex,

i went to editor>>sidebar.php>> i search the codes there for a place where there is “gray” to change it white,i didnt see “gray”.

pls alight it in steps or show the code copy i can change, your previous answer is so limited to me,as a beginner.

    /img/sidebar/s-left.png
    /img/sidebar/s-right-s2.png

You have to use image editor(like Gimp, Paint) to change colors and not a code.

Is it normal that my s-left.png and s-right-s2.png are 76 octets, empty images (with a white line in the middle)?
