how to make rollover effect on posts in autofocus pro theme like autofocus?

I am using both autofous themes the regular one and the pro. I really like the regular version, but I had to setup this page with the pro theme. so here’s my question:
how do I change the rollover effect (is that correct) in the pro theme to make it look like in the regular version? I don’t like the whole picture in a post beeing coverd by that effect when you’re hovering the mouse cursor above it. the lower third for example is enough.
