How to make Polylang and the Email Before Download plugin compatible?
-
Hellos,
I am using Polylang on my website and I am trying to get Email Before Download to work as well.
The problem is with the *download link* that Email Before Download sends in an email message to a visitor who has submitted the corresponding Contact Form 7 (and/or shows inline on the landing page after the form has been submitted). The download file that the visitor requests is a .PDF file.
The link in the email (and/or inline on the page) has the following format, e.g: http://cluetail.com/download/9163/?uid=fed8410669
That link is not correct and doesn’t take the user to the downloadable .PDF file.
The correct link to the downloadable file contains ‘/en/’ in the URL as follows:
http://cluetail.com/en/download/9163/?uid=fed8410669I take it that Polylang inserts ‘/en/’ in the URL of the download file. Is there a way to:
either (1) prevent Polylang from inserting ‘/en/’ to the download directory without affecting other language-specific URLs such as those of pages and blog post,
or (2) make Email Before Download to modify the automatically generated download URL to include ‘/en/’ (and ‘/fi/’ and ‘/nl/’ for my other current languages)?BTW, this is my landing page: http://cluetail.com/en/download-landing-page-tip-sheet-conversions-multiply/
Many thanks,
JosThe page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
