  • Dears,

When I creat/add a new page , there is an option to choose the template for this new page ( Page Attributes – default Template or One column, no sidebar ).

But in Posts, when to add new post, above options is not exist.

I want to make some posts with One column, no sidebar template. How ??

Some posts required One column ( no sidebare ), but unforutantly, i don’t find an opion like in new page.

    Wish someone help me

  • That is because a ‘Post’ is not a ‘Page’. A page is mainly for static information, about us, contact us, articles, etc.

A post is part of the dynamic part of the system and will age as with all posts.

You do not say why your posts need to have different formats, but you should check out setting up a child theme with versions of single.php, which shows the full post not the excerpt.

    single.php is in wp-content/themes/[your theme name]/
