  • Hi,
there’s an option available for the Customizr modern style that allows you achieving your goal (in home page only). See:

at: New option for a header on top of your content
You can find that option (Apply a transparent background to your header on home.) under
Appearance -> Customize -> Header -> General design settings

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Rocco,
Thank you for your response. I have a few questions. Well, I have an old version of customizr. Will nimble builder work with it to make the new option work? Also, I was new to WordPress when I created this website and the mistake i did was I made changes to the main theme without creating the child theme. If I upgrade to the new theme, how much of the customization will I lose? All text, images uploaded on site (WILL I need to upload them again?)they all will be gone? what about the layout I made with other plugins? Will they be gone as well?
    Thank you in advance
    Hafsa

    Hi @hafsaz,
    I’m glad you solved.
As you said updating a theme won’t make you lose your settings nor the “contents” you’ve added to your website, such as images, posts, pages, as they are theme independent.

    Best regards.
