Hi all, how do I make my main page look like these websites?

http://www.newlaunchsingapore.comI wish for my real estate website to look the same, but am not sure how they make their frontpage look like that, with their different post having a ‘thumbnail image’, a short description, and categorized according to categories.
Would appreciate if anybody can help me!
