How to make Home tab a parent page selection

    I’m new to WordPress and all of it’s tools. I want to make a page, not a post, a child page to the Homepage tab. That is, when I hover my cursor over the Home tab, I want there to be a page that drops down. How can I do this? Any help is much appreciated.
