    Hello,

    I would like to know how I can make my header smaller, i.e., the space above the navigation bar. In this case, I would like to reduce the space between "Agrupamento de Escolas Poeta Joaquim Serra" and my header.
    My site is: GIC

    Thank you very much

    Add this to your child theme style.css file:

    #site-description {
        margin-bottom 10px: ;
    }

    Adjust the 10 if you want different spacing there.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your answer.
    I did as you told me. I added it to the end of my child theme style.css file, however it didn't change anything, even when I change the number before px, it just keeps the same space.

    Thank you again

    That code is nowhere in your child theme CSS file (nor anywhere else). So try this one: find this code in the child theme style.css file:

    #site-description {
    	font-size: 20px;
    	margin: -1 270px 3.65625em 0;
    	color: #1a35ac
    }

    It's not far down from the top -- and then change the 3.65625em to 10px.

    Make sure you are saving changes and clearing any caching -- site, server and browser.

    Thank you very much again, but I still don't see any changes.
    I'm sorry for being such a newbie.
    I really appreciate your help.
    What else can I do?
    Thank you

    Wow!
    I'm sorry.
    I guess it worked!
    Thank you again!

    Ups!
    Just one more thing, it worked in the homepage. However, the other pages still have the space.
    What can I do?
    Thank you again.

    Add the two letters px on the end of the number 1 provided by WPyogi's code.
    E.g
    From this;

    margin: -1 270px 3.65625em 0;

    To this;

    margin: -1px 270px 3.65625em 0;
