  • I paste a short code in the contact form and began to work “multiple”, but I do not know how to communicate with the letter was this line.

    The files will not be visible in the letter(

    <input type=”file” name=”file-1″ multiple limit:50mb>

    Help pleas!

    Try this in the FORM:

    [file file-1 limit:50mb]
    [file file-2 limit:50mb]
    [file file-2 limit:50mb]

    And then in MAIL > Attachments

    [file-1][file-2][file-3]

    Yes, I know, I need to run the command “multiple”. But it does not work.
    To download more than two files at one time.

    multiple is not valid syntax for this plugin’s attachments

    You could try another plugin or request some custom coding:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=contact+form+multiple+uploads
    http://jobs.wordpress.net/

    Maybe I could use this command? It works “multiple”.

    <input type=”file” name=”file-1″ multiple limit:50mb>

    But I don’t know how to tie it to the letter.

    As mentioned above, you need a supplemental plugin like this one.

    Keep in mind that a single attachment button will .zip the user’s file selections. You won’t be able to limit filetypes (unless you run some kind of filter on the .zip), which can be a security risk, since they could include executables.

    Of course, you could run a virus scan on the .zip prior to opening, but it’s still a hassle.

    I thought about using a single button for multiple files, and that linked plugin does work well, but decided on putting multiple buttons on my form instead, due to the above reasons.

    P. S. excuse the double-post; dunno what happened there, but I can’t delete the earlier one…

    Thanks for the help. How to include it in php? I dont know.

    Thank you!) It worked!)

    I changed my mind and will use a single multifile button, since it provides a better user experience and unclutters the form.

    The supplemental plugin allows filetype limitation. If that weren’t enough, Gmail also blocks various filetypes in .zip attachments. Ready-made filters. Cool…

    Unfortunately, attackers can still spam forbidden filetypes by simply changing extensions. Being incorrect filetypes, they likely won’t be opened by a program to cause damage, but it could be annoying for the recipient.

    In the case of excessive spam, the webmaster can use multiple attachment buttons instead, which would at least require more time and effort on the part of attackers.
