  • I believe WordPress 3.0 has new functionality to rotate the background using custom background, not tested it yet but the videos look promising.

    Hi Wareno,
    This post may help, it is a tutorial for changing the background by time of day, this was for a question asked on this forum.

    I extended it for season (month), in the season part I have a line of code to return a random background, you may be able to extend this.

    It just uses the body class and a set of style elements, you just need to load the classes into an array generate a random seeded number and that is it.

    If you have trouble working it out I could extend the tutorial to cover random backgrounds, but it would still require each background to have a style.
