how to make components hidden in the shop?

    Hi,

    I read that the components must be visible and purchasable to create the composite product, but is there a way to work around the settings? Maybe with code?
    I need the components not to be purchasable separately, only together.

    Maybe anyone has an alternative and can help me? Thank you it’s important to me.

    Hi @ilariabattiloro ,

    In order to do that, you can:

    • Go to WPClever >> Composite Products >> Choose “No” for the Link to individual product option. This is to unlink components from the composite so customers cannot click on the title of subproducts and go to the component product pages from the composite page.
    • Change the Catalog Visibility of subproducts on their single product page to Hidden. This will hide them completely from the archive and shop page.

    thank you for the reply. but if I set the visibility of the components as hidden, they don’t appear on the grouped product page. How can i fix it?

    Hi @ilariabattiloro ,

    No, you should keep the Visibility as Public, and change their “Catalog visibility” to Hidden. Please refer to our doc properly: https://prnt.sc/HbeioE52UlbZ

    You just need to hide them from the archive/shop page. Their visibility should remain Public so our plugin can find them and add to the composite.

    hi, sorry I wrote wrong. I meant just like you just told me and the components are not included on the product page. will it be a bug?
