How to make a wide sidebar over 2 column sidebars?

    I have my blog posting area, then 2 columns on the right. I am wondering how would i put a widget over top of the 2 column sidebars?

    Note: I can’t do it in widgets on WordPress because the box isn’t there to add a widget there.

    Is there a way to do this manually and is it easy to do?

    By creating a widget ready area within the relevant template file in your theme.

    Would there be a code that would do this for me? Or is anyone willing to help me understand in a simple way how to do this? I have some knowledge of the php files and html. But other than that i am a newbie.

    That link above doesn’t seem to explain how to do this.
