How to make a draft or redesign without removing.

    Hi
    I have recently been tasked with the redesign of a website.
    In this case I have no previous experience with WordPress, but I am slowly getting to know my way around.

    My question is, would it be possible to make a draft or somehow save the old design of the website, so i dont delete it or lose it in the progress of redesigning it?

    I would prefer the possibility of making a new draft if possible. So i dont touch the actual website until everything has been completed and / or approved.

    Your best bet would be to set up a development environment, using something like MAMP or Local by Flywheel. You could then use Duplicator to both pull down the current site to your dev environment and push it back up to production once it’s ready.
