• Hi there,
I’m trying to modify a great WP theme, but cannot seem to get the sidebar “sticky”! What I mean is:

    I have this webpage: http://www.eeuwigweekend.nl/2008/03/12/test-low-david-bowies-magnus-opus/
and I want the sidebar to be on the right top. Next to the text. As you can see the sidebar is now all the way down, which is because it doesn’t fit anymore. But I still want it back!
How do I do that? I’ve tried everything in the CSS. Help is very appreciated.

  • The main div is too wide so it’s pushing the sidebar over too far.

If you use Firefox, download the Web Developer extension and find out what the name of the div is; it should be your main content div.

    That’s it! Thanks a lot, blueshift9.
Problem now is that it’s okay in Firefox, but still a sidebar at the bottom of the page in f**** IE6. Sigh.

Don’t you love it? lol. Just keep messing around a bit, you’ll nail it.
I don’t use IE6 but i’m sure there is a way to peek into the CSS for it.
