• Hello!

My blog design is nearly complete and my developer has just left for an extended holiday so is unable to help me.

Today, I deleted a page titled Articles from the Pages section of the Control Panel. The reason I deleted it is because it was completely blank. However, now the link on my title bar to that page says the page cannot be found. Please see http://crossone.org/faithfirst/articles

The Articles page was designed so that the sidebar showed a complete listing of my posts and the 5 most recent posts showed in the main column.

The source code shows that link as being http://crossone.org/faithfirst/articles … only one problem, there is no page titled “Articles” in that directory, so I don’t know how to retrieve it from my backup to restore it.

I don’t know if this makes sense to anyone, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks much!

  • Just create a test post under “articles” category from your WordPress admin panel. I believe the post that you have deleted was not useful. If it was important post then you will need to contact your developer in case if they have database backup or you may ask your host to provide latest backup for your database.
