    Hello,

I am using WP Forms for my Send Inquiry Form. I have already created a “pop up” and selected the theme “cutting edge” (modified the theme the way I want to display). But I am unable to connect this to my “Send Inquiry” button.

I have “Send Inquiry” button on my homepage and brand pages. I want when the user clicks on the send inquiry button – the popup opens with the send inquiry form.

Can you please kindly guide how can I set this up?

    Thanks & Regards,
    Rashida H.

  • Hi @rashidazhussain – thanks for reaching out.

Basically, to properly trigger a popup to a button, first, you must set a Click Open trigger to your popup. For more details, see this documentation: ‘Click Open’ Trigger Settings. https://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/350-popup-settings-box-triggers-option-settings#click_open_trigger_settings

Once done with that, you will need to copy the popup’s CSS class that will look like this popmake-123 under All Popups > Popups > CSS classes column.

In case you have used the Gutenberg editor to make create the button then could you please click the button and under the Advanced settings section (from the right sidebar), there is a field to enter Additional CSS Class (https://share.getcloudapp.com/eDuLdrxe).

You can also check this screen recording from my test site to make it more clear for you: https://share.getcloudapp.com/YEuvneB6

And, if you are using a page builder then simply use the popup’s CSS class in your builder for an element’s class, or add a # to the beginning and use it as a link.

If that helps, then we would very much appreciate it if you could quickly rate the plugin, just to help us spread the word.

Otherwise, for us to assist you further with your issue, you will need to escalate it directly to our HelpScout support desk. Check out this link: https://wppopupmaker.com/support/ Thank you.

    Hello!

I was able to connect the popup to the button in the page builder.

However; in my homepage – I have “Inquire Now” button and I want to do the same with these buttons but .. homepage is not set with page builder. It’s designed with the presets in the theme and the button doesn’t have the element’s class.
It just has the “link” option. How can I apply the popup to these buttons?

    Kindly advise.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Rashida H.

Hi @rashidazhussain – thanks for sending us an update.

the button doesn’t have the element’s class. It just has the “link” option.

To be able to open a popup using a link then I would suggest you check out this documentation on how to do that: https://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/399-trigger-click-open-trigger-a-popup-from-a-link-url This will give you the step by step guidelines that might help.

I hope that works for you.
