How to limit the number of circles linking to pages on homepage (4 posts)

    Hi friends,

I have a problem with my Homepage. I use Spun theme, but circles in homepage link to posts. This issue is resolved and I know how to link to pages (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/replace-posts-with-pages-on-the-frontpage?replies=12), but now I don't know how to limit the number of circles and how to choose those that I want to use. For example: I have a total of 10 pages in my website but I want to link only to 3 specific pages.
    How can I do it?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

I'm quite a newby but I think you should try modifying the "while" loop in the "index.php" custom theme, introducing the number of page you want instead of "have_posts()"

Maybe with some integer value ...

    Hope this help.

Create some custom circles if you want:

It may just be easier to create your own template (through a Child Theme) and then just create 3 links into the template itself. Then use CSS to style them as circles. That won't be content managed though.
