hi, newbie to WP and have one more (well, two more) questions!

    website is hbrady.com

how do i set the max number of posts to show on my homepage? i would like the top three posts that are already on there to stay, and then others that i add (like the lone post on the 2nd row there now) to be “hidden”, so they only pop up when someone selects that “category” from the header.

also, about that category section on the menu bar. any thoughts as to why/how i can fix the “copywriter” that is hanging out by itself on the right? i’d like it to line up under “journalist” like the others to the left of it do.

    help??!!!!

Assuming the number of posts on the home page would be different to the number of posts per page in Settings->Reading, you would need to use a custom query in your theme’s home page template file.

ok, great! NOW, how do i get rid of the “page 1 of 2” at the bottom of the home page? (i want these extra posts hidden unless accessed through my “categories” tab at top).

snap into your theme files and delete the code that shows previous / next.

    done. thank you!!
