I would like to temporarily open my website to non-members without disabling WooCommerce Memberships — and then leave a category of posts permanently open to non-members. Did not find a way to set content accessibility for non-logged visitors.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi

    Your are using this plugin:

    https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-memberships/

And here is focused on woocommerce core support.

Please send your request as a support ticket to plugin developer.

    Good luck

    Hey there!

As mentioned, it’s best if you use the premium support your license comes with on WooCommerce.com, as they can offer a bit more in-depth help there. 🙂

With that being said, you can change the content that a membership restricts, from this page: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-memberships-quick-start/#section-6

You can also set a category to not be restricted from the category settings page (so in your category listing, select your category, and the restrictions settings are at the bottom of the page there).

Hopefully that helps! Have a great one!

    Hi Andy!

Thanks for the reply. Before coming here I filed a ticket at WooCommerce, that was handed over to SkyVerge… without reaction — and the problem is hot.

The docs mentioned surely explain how to set restrictions for a membership plan, but my concern is how to suspend all restrictions and let *non-members* access the whole site. With half a dozen plans, it’s a huge job to deactivate everything.

Anyway, I appreciate that you took the time to guide me. 🙂
