 * I just recently bought a domain name and put up a roughly-constructed site using
wordpress. But, I’d like to learn and actually understand computer coding and
   design and php/css/etc.
 * I’m a complete beginner. What steps should I take to learn? What should I learn
first, read first, understand first, and where do I go from there?

 * What order should I learn them in?

 * I’d suggest XHTML first then CSS – as that’s the order they’re created/used on
a site. When you’re comfortable with both, move onto PHP.
