    when i follow the instructions of installing the WordPress in wamp i come to a situation where i have unzipped my files of wordpress 3.9 in C:\wamp\www by making a new folder in it. than i try to create a new database by going into phpmyadmin and the page says (enter username and password) . but i never set a password in phpmyadmin. and thats the place i am getting stuck on .

    please help me guys

    If you check the site where you got WAMP from it will have a default user/pass. That is probably what you mean? You could try 'root' as both.

    Any readme files with the WAMP download should also specify any default user/pass

    By default, the username and password for WAMP are the following:

    Username = root
    Password: (Leave it blank)

    You can also find the username and password by going to the wp-config.php file and looking for the following:

    /**MySQL database username*/
    /**MySQL database password*/
