This is probably the most frustrating program I have ever tried to use, downloaded twice still cannot get it running, downloaded file cannot be read PHP file. Tried through !and1 still cannot get at it. I have read the read.me file, does not help. All the other web Building programs I have tries all just access the website, or download and off it goes.

I have wasted over a week trying to get this running, and have got nowhere. I just want to try the program due to its reputation, but it remains hidden.

Previous post say takes 15 minutes, after you have read the instructions.

Very reluctant to waste anymore time, I have said the same to 1and1

We shall see if I get any answers.

Richard, WordPress is not a web building program like adobe dreamweaver that runs on the PC sitting on your desk. It is a content publishing application that needs to be installed on a web server.

1&1 provide a guide to installing WordPress on their hosting packages: http://faq.1and1.co.uk/web_space__access/ftp_account/12.html

@richardjagood – you are hosted on 1and1? I could take a look and install WordPress for you if you wish?
