Support » Plugin: CP Media Player - Audio Player and Video Player » How to Insert to a Page – No Shortcode or Instructions?

  • Resolved lindaloustarr

ok, so just downloaded free version to check it out before recommending to a client, I’m missing something, I created a player name under “configure media player” (chose first one) . . . set size to 425 x 200, checked “show playlist” clicked create new item . . . entered title – songs 3, no subtitle -> insert/update item on playlist . . . playlist shows next to “up / down / delete item” but there are no instructions anywhere of how to insert this player into a page or post . . . what am I missing?

Thank you for your kind reply.
    Peace & Blessings

You have followed the steps to create a media player correctly, ok, now its time to insert the media player in a post/page.

Go to the edition of post/page, and press the button blue with the white arrow, just above the editor, (look the screenshot in, the insertion window allows you to select the media player created previously.

    Best regards.

    Hi there,

Is there a way to auto detect the browser and offer the media type? For example, if using Firefox use file.ogg, if using IE use file.mp3

Thanks and I apologize if my question has already been answered and I didn’t find it.

In the creation of playlist, it is possible to entering multiple file formats for each item in the playlist (press the button “Add another one” to entering a new file format), the Media Player will select by itself the correct format of Audio or Video depending of browser.

    Best regards.
