Support » Plugin: The Events Calendar » How to insert mini calendar as a non-widget item

  • I’ve exhausted all avenues trying to accomplish this… I’m trying to make the mini calendar widget appear in an area where widgets are not allowed (i.e. not in my sidebar).

My site uses content blocks, and the only way I can make it look as if the calendar is in a content box, is to place the calendar widget in a sidebar, then use margin styles to move the widget into the box. This is a horrible way of doing this…

Is there a shortcode or php code that enables custom placement of the mini calendar? Please let me know if you’d like me to elaborate.

    Thanks,
    Steve

  • Hi Steve,

Unfortunately no, we do not have any shortcodes or PHP that you can use to include the mini widget in your theme and still have it function properly. You can try hacking it, but you’re on your own with that.
