    Hi everybody,

Has someone experience in putting the GA-code in the right place.
I used Scott's Custom CSS option and the scriptcode it actually shows up on the pagesources (www.artofado.nl).

So, that part works. But Google does not find it and gave the message you see at the bottom of this post..

They also say that: The asynchronous snippet should appear at the top of your page before the closing </head> tag.

Well..it does......but....could it be while the script is in between <style> tags?

    Anybody an idea?

    thnxalot upfront, Peer

The Google Analytics tracking code has not been detected on your website's home page. For Analytics to function, you or your web administrator must add the code to each page of your website.

You can't add a script in the Custom CSS tab. I'd use a Google Analytics plugin for this.

    Hi Scott,

    Thnx for answering so quickly.
    I try a plugin from Yoast (https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/google-analytics/)
Didn't know those plugins existed; now Google tells me that the tracker is activated.
So, the plugin works fine although it is designed for the regular GA not Universla Analytics. I'll contact them.

    thnx again, Peer
