Since you’re working with a commercial theme, you’ll probably have better luck asking the theme vendors directly.

I’ve emailed them twice in the last week and I haven’t heard anything. Their support system is being trashed on the warrior forum so I’m losing hope!

I too use Theme mx and your right its not user friendly or support friendly in fact there is no support!! In answering your first question how do I put an image underneath you simply insert it underneath your first image remember you are using html code and need to put the correct html code in for spacing and then when your happy with the approximate position upload your image as you did previously.
The second question is far more difficult to do, unless you are a seasoned programmer don’t attempt it as it you have to go into your hosting account or c panel and change files. I myself really struggled with this but I outsourced it to a chappy on fivver.com simply go on the site type in wordpress problems and there are lots of qualified people who will sort out your problems for $5 its money well spent believe me
